The Bigotry and Hatred being pushed in the name of “protecting” marriage is nothing short of discrimination. Discrimination is being pushed forward by The Republican Party as a dividing issue in the country and by The Religious Right who have decided to use the Bible as an instrument of hate instead of Love. It does not matter how you feel about “gay marriage”; it is illegal in most states. To add discrimination into any state Bill of Rights or into the American Bill of Rights is wrong. By asking for Gay Equality, we are not asking for special treatment just equal protection under the law. The Gay, Lesbian Bisexual, & Transsexual Community deserve the same rights of Freedom and Pursuit of Happiness as anyone else. The first symbol used for the GLBT community was the Pink Triangle. It was not one we chose. It is one that was forced on us as we were led to the Death Camps of Nazi Germany. It seems that American is heading the same of Nazi Germany under the so-called leadership of Bush and his Party of Bigots. I am asking all of the GLBT Community to wear the Triangle proudly and explain the history to any that ask. Hopefully, we can educate the world person by person before it is too late.
