The golem, a legendary mud-moster brought to life by the mystical rabbi of Prague known as the Maharal, was awoken with the three letters alef, mem, tav. The word, which spells 'emet' in Hebrew - 'truth' is both the life giving force for the monster and the eventual achilles heel for the clay man. when the alef is erased, the word reads 'mate' - 'dead' and the monster turns back into pottery.

I always had the idea of creating a hat with this logo, and I found an old manuscript that I scanned to give an antique look to the word.
