Let's face it. Who doesn't love a good quotation? Quotations to inspire. Quotations to amuse. I know I do. I collect them. They're even written on the floor and walls of my studio. I've probably collected hundreds of quotations on art, music, creativity and spirituality. I've also penned a few myself, and those are the ones I offer here. Most of these came at moments of great inspiration or during my daily meditation practice. Or even in a dream.

I've chosen to present them in block letters without adornment, because that style reminds me of the many posted signs I grew up around in rural Michigan - signs like the one on the left. They always seemed so urgent, so authoratative. They demanded to be read. It was impossible to ignore them.

I find that when I wear these quotations myself, I get a lot of nods of recognition, smiles and even the ocassional question or comment. People do read them. It's impossible to ignore them. :-)
