Mission Statement

Railroadtown.ca is an innovative web site containing content that is both educational and entertaining for children and young adults.
This web site will always strive to be a credit to railroading, the hobby of Model Railroading and the community of Capreol, Ontario as a whole.

Goals; 2008

1) To create an outreach program that will promote the town of Capreol, the railroads, and the hobby of Model Railroading. This will be accomplished by building a modular, model train display, and printed presentation material that may be brought to schools, malls, and shows/events for educational purposes.

2) To promote and assist in any capacity possible, the restoration efforts for the Locomotive 6077 currently located in Prescott Park, Capreol, Ontario.

3) To network with, and assist the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre in their promotional endeavours.

4) To promote and assist in any capacity possible the induction of Capreol, Ontario into the Canadian Railroad Hall of Fame.

We recieve $5.00 from each item sold. The proceeds will be used to assist in our mission statement goals.
