Purl Diving - A Knitter's Pillowcast - Store

Just what is Purl Diving? It's a knitter's pillowcast.

And just what, you say, is a "pillowcast"? Well, it's a podcast modelled after the "Pillow Book" of Sei Shonagon. Sei Shonagon was a court lady to the Empress Sadako in Japan in the 990s, and what she wrote was, essentially, a diary filled with lists and thoughts and observations.

I've long been fascinated by the "Pillow Book", and wanted to do something similar, but with a knitting slant to it.

Thus was born Purl Diving, a knitting podcast offering a thought, a list, an observation, much in the style of Sei Shonagon's pillow book.
