Proud to be an Immigrant

The US flag is everywhere -- even some places it might better not be.

The flag represents many things to many people. Recently it's been frightening how narrow-minded the definition of 'patriot' is. A patriot can love this country, love the idea of the country, and still be worried about where its going.

Most of us in this country wouldn't be here if it weren't for our ancestors immigration. Give immigrants the same chances (and less discrimination) than your ancestors. We can be better than our past.
