Postpotatolater is the story of the ripening of an avocado. A gritty little adventure with a point of view that is often squashed into guacamole. The first edition has been out for over sixty days. I have a feeling of relief getting these decades of work out into the world. I have been relating to a scene in a 1947 black and white John Wayne movie, Angel and the Badman (written and directed by James Edward Grant.) In the scene, John Wayne has been injured and is fitful and restless and cannot mend. He can sleep easy only when a revolver, albeit with cartridges removed, is placed in his hand under the pillow. Now, I too, can relax and promote Postpotatolater. And now, a new third edition for 2008 for all my worthy readers!
