BlueBARN Giftware and Apparel is a collection of products designed with the unique images of artist Bill Papas (1927-2000).
Horses played a part in Papas' life since he was a child. He has ridden since the age of four, in his farming days in the African bush. He usually make the rounds on horseback and after moving to England in the late 50's he made sure that each of his three chidren had ponies. One of the ponies he broke to harness so that he could accompany the children in a governess cart on their ride through the Kentish countryside. When Papas moved to the States he spent a lot of time attending and taking part in "horse" events. He has ridden cutting horses in Texas, polo ponies in Florida and gone trail riding in Oregon and California. His watercolors have been exhibited widely at a number of galleries throughout the country as well as at the Calgary Stampede and the National Rodeo Finals.
