Plotkin designs were created in honor of my son Ty. Born with epilepsy, having over 20 grand-mal seizures a day, he underwent brain surgery (a right hemispherectomy) at 16 months old. So far the surgery appears to be a success. Since the surgery he hasn't had any seizures, giving him a whole new life to live. He is a remarkable little kid, and "One Tough Cookie". We have spent several days, weeks and months in the hospital over the past 17 months. Through that time, I have been privileged to meet so many sweet kids who have similar issues, or sadly worse. These kids are the strongest kids I have ever seen. They have been through so much, and continue to do it with a smile on their faces. These shirts are dedicated to all those kids who don't deserve to be going through any of this. I hope these shirts will help others realize just how special and sweet these kids are.

I want to thank all the parents who have helped me come up with the sayings below. I know I haven't covered everything.
