Werner Heisenberg (1901 - 1976) was a German physicist, famous for his Uncertainty Principle. The basic idea of this principle is that nothing is certain - our measurements of nature will always be in error. My partner (philosopher Geoff Haselhurst) and I are building a large
philosophy website which is the source (and inspiration) for most of
the Philosophy images and quotes in this shop.
