Marilyn A. Hudson addresses the apparently limited role of women in the church by stripping away centuries of assumptions and "copycat" commentary to re-examine the Gospels in a historic context and compare them to the actions of Jesus Christ. Marilyn Hudson earned degrees in History and Library Science from the University of Oklahoma and spent many years researching the historic, literary, and evangelical components of the New Testament, especially as it relates to women.In addition to a storied career as a freelance writer for several national publications, Hudson has also penned a number of books, including "One Night Club and a Mule Barn," a history of Southwestern Christian University where she now serves as Director of Libraries.
