A neutral self-help guide for emotional and physical recovery after an abortion
Synopsis
This workbook provides detailed steps and examples to help a woman recover after an abortion. The method used is a non-political, non-religion based, neutral self-help style. The workbook is divided into two sections - Section One is a complete program that helps you review your experience and your feelings, and any issues or problems you are having because of the abortion. Section Two is an additional bonus Section that covers feelings of loss and grief as related to the loss of the pregnancy. Women who do not feel a sense of loss as related to the pregnancy itself can skip Section Two. The workbook also conatins blank pages at the end for journaling, step work or artistic expression. The workbook was developed by jilly after 7 years of dealing with women recovering from their abortions on a daily basis, and with the insight and personal growth she experienced when dealing with her own 5 abortions. It was revised in July 2004 to include more examples and more sections with added guidance and support.
