The NOT symbol is everywhere! It is one of
the few international symbols which is instantly recognized across
all cultural and linguistic borders; This symbol quickly gets its
message across. It is displayed on thousands of items - on
everything from hospital equipment to consumer products, from road
signs to political statements.
As a method of adding extra meaning to a statement
the not symbol is unique: alone, by itself it possesses little
meaning, but when supplemented with an overlapping word or graphic (usually displayed underneath the “circle slash”) an
