AB 1634 is the wrong answer. It is one step toward eliminating our pets. There are better answers. This bill will Increase euthansia of pets in shelters Unfairly target responsible pet owners Encourage 'puppy mill" & puppy smuggling operations Mandate sterilzation of pets at the age of 6 months Serve to eliminate all police dogs, show dogs and cats, gude dogs for the blind, search and rescue dogs, assistance dogs for the disabeled, FEMA dogs, ranch dogs, hunting dogs, and mixed breed dogs and cats Strip California pet owners of their consititutional rights Strip away pet owner privacy Will be costly and nearly impossible to enforce Deny our children the joy of pet companionship Save our Pets!
