More Information

Captain George Mosher (1923-2002) had a diverse career as an aviator in the Army Air Corp. He also had a gift and passion for storytelling. In the mid-80's Captain Mosher sat down in his living room and recorded his memories of WWII on to a series of audio cassettes. These recordings have been digitally edited and preserved on this CD which contains over 23 true stories (over 50 minutes) in his own words. Captain Mosher's stories take you back in time with detailed first hand accounts of life in the Aviation Cadets and the Ferry Command during WWII. Hear about close calls, check rides, acrobatics, night flying, and his journey from single engine trainers, to fighters, to four engine bombers.
