Newbys, is a Memphis, TN Neighborhood Bar and Grill that has been serving great food and stiff drinks to damn good people for over 30 years... Newbys was established in 1975, we are located 6 blocks off the University of Memphis Campus; 539 S. Highland, Memphis, TN 38111. We not only celebrate Memphis Tiger Pride but, the legacy of Memphis Music, as well! We bring the best up and coming National Touring Live Bands to our main stage, while providing stepping stones for locals bands to perform on a professional level... Some of the bands that have played our intimate 500 capacity theater: Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Daughtry, Elliot Yamin, Nickelback, Creed, Saliva, members of Widespread Panic, Robert Earl Keen, Del McCoury, Keller Williams, moe., Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Rehab, JJ Grey and Mofro, Tone Loc, Skinny Pimp, Three 6 Mafia, Digital Underground... Just to name a few of the old and new bands that have played the main stage...
