Biogr aphy: american yoga master

Maitreya was born in Scotsboro, Alabama. Her family proudly carries the standard of freedom with some 14 knights in the McClendon Clan history, and were seated at Eileen Donan in the 12th century Scotland. her family has been in the United States since before the American Revolution, fought in the American Revolution, signed of the Declaration of Independence and hails from France and Scotland. Maitreya is a proud and patriotic American who has a long history of civil rights activity and charity.

Maitreya is a fully initiated master in more than one tradition in the world’s esoteric sciences and philosophies.
She holds the 77th seat of mastery in Zen Buddhism under Sakyamuni Buddha in an unbroken chain of succession bestowed upon her by the venerable Zen Patriarch Seo Kyung Bo. Master Seo was a grand master of the martial arts, a Tripitika Master , calligraphy master (two of his works are in the White House and in most of the state houses of Europe), and a national treasure of Korea. He passed his mantle of mastery to Maitreya in a formal ceremony in Boulder, Colorado, including the art of calligraphy and the practice of Taoism, which he studied in mainland China. Master Seo further certified Maitreya’s initiation ceremony and her succession in his own original calligraphy and as details in his biographical writings, where he entitled her Bopsa Maitreya. She was born free and fully realized.

Maitrey a is further titled and a fully authorized master in the Sufi work, as Murshida, or Beloved, in the Sufi orders of Rafai, Bedwie, Kadiri, Sheikha of the Order of Clear Light, Jerrahi (or heart surgeon of the Helveti), Mevlevi, Chistia, Sufi Order of the West, and Sufi Islamia Ruhaniat Society and has been honored in 2005 as Ambassador of Universal Peace being called Sheikha-tul Islam around the world. Her initiator, Murshid Hassan Moumanie of Jacob's Well, through Murshid Isa Kadre, gave no training or connection to the religion of Islam, so that the line is strictly an American esoteric tarika for the coming times. Murshid Isa Kadre is a leader in American thought and revolutionary sacred community whose keynote besides his prodigious intellect, was his work with Dr. Martin Luther King. Isa was born in Alabama, as well, under the name Jesse Lafayette Drennen III. they are among the stalward leaders of the american sufi movement, which is not a religion or connected to any religion, but which is the unity of religious ideals in the physics of reality.

A devout student of the Mahan Tantric Yogi Bhajan, Maitreya was first commanded to teach by him in Paris, France. She is the only woman ever to be initiated into the ascetic warrior order of India, the Nihung. She has traveled and studied yoga extensively in India.

Maitreya has been acknowledged as a super mundane Dakini (or Skydancer) in the Tibetan tradition by several lamas including Gangting Tulku Rimpoche (a recognized reincarnated enlightened being by the Dalai Lama), as well as by Archbishop Dr. Ajari Warwick. of both the Russian and Greek Orthodox Churches.

She is a multi-talented artist holding a BFA in painting from U of A with graduate studies at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. Her curriculum includes special mentoring in acting, and film arts, as well as development of her unique mathematical genius. As master of meditation, she developed and ran an organized school with 20 centers in the USA plus Tokyo and Paris. Maitreya has traveled the world extensively due to the fiduciary requirements that her studies and teaching activities have placed upon her. This has taken her to Tibet, India, Nepal, Bhutan, the Amazon and elsewhere. She has developed and operated many charities including the Free Kitchen, a free sacred music institute, pioneering in homeless shelters, and the Children’s Garden for distressed single mothers and children.

Our Murshida Maitreya is a member of the Feldenkrais Guild which is a movement philosophy healing art developed in Jerusalem by nuclear physicist Moshe Feldenkrais who was a colleague of Albert Einstein’s. She is an adept at Somato Respiratory Integration and transmits and teaches the healing modalities of her Sufi lineages as well as Bayudchalek and Ufferudchalek.

Ma itreya’s ripening as an artist developed uniquely through her esoteric studies: musician, poet, painter, writer, and actress. She was especially mentored in acting, directing, production and all aspects of the dramatic arts by her late partner, Yale Wexler, who also introduced her to entrepreneurial activity in the purchasing, development and management of hotels, among other mega ventures. She holds 26 copyrights for television, film, literature and musical scores. She is eligible for the director’s guild and producer’s guild and is a member of SAG and AFTRA.

Her beauty took her to New York with the famous Eileen Ford Model Agency, which launched her cover girl career.
