Kokopelli is the hunchback flute player of the ancient Anasazi people of the Southwest.The oldest manifestation of Kokopelli, the flute player, is found on on prehistoric American rock carvings. Kokopelli is the symbol of fertility, the trickster, and the harbinger of good luck. Most of the forms today are of Hopi origins, borrowed from the original glyphs of their Anasazi ancesters. The original meaning of Kokopelli remains a mystery.
