The 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment patrolled the Iron Curtain in Europe for over 40 years. Now as the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, they are home based back in Germany and deploy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Read the history of the 2nd Cavalry here..
