Marvin Swallow - Visionary indigenous Lakota Arts

Visionary Paintings by Chief Marvin Swallow. His work explores themes in the Lakota ways of life in the Sacred Medicine Wheel.
Marvin is a member of the Sicangu band of the Teton Lakota from the Black Hills of South Dakota. With his wife Hiroko Matsuda Swallow, a Water Woman, he travels as a roadman of the Native American Church and as a ceremonial Chief in the Lakota tradition.
