Linda Carruth, a freelance illustrator and designer who enjoys riding her own motorcycle, couldn't help but notice the lack of motorcycle shirts and other items geared to the feminine rider. She says, "These manufacturers slap on a stenciled rose and a couple of feathers that look like drooping tropical foliage and offer that, and only that, to the Lady Rider. Wow. We need more choices and we need them NOW!"
Linda's shop is crammed with designs that represent women motorcyclists, and most can be worn around the kids and grandkids without a slew of embarrassing questions. Linda also welcomes custom orders for events, rallies, or just for that special shirt you just have to have!
If you have a special request, you can email her at lcarruth@lwwallace.com
If you ride, or know someone that does, check out Linda's other site, CruiserTales.com, where you can submit your riding stories, find links to motorcycle gear, articles, riding news, and lots more. And, if you're thinking about learning, there's a fairly long listing of motorcycle safety classes, listed by state.
