Love Bug Gift

Those naughty little love bugs are at it again! These affectionate flies mate in the air, swarming so thickly that they can make driving in the South a hazard. Also called March flies, honeymoon bugs, or kissy bugs, love bugs spend their entire adult life in the act of mating. The male then dies and the female lays her eggs. My humorous lovebug design has the characteristic red-and-black coloring of a real love bug. The red thorax has been stylized to look like a heart, symbolic of the insect's amorous life-purpose.
