Children who are still on school break are thinking about their school supplies and class schedules, but it just isn't time to stock up on those winter coats, woolen sweaters, and snow boots yet.
No, the sun is still shining in between the broad green leaves on the oak tree that shades the back yard, and the smell of the freshly-mown grass is just too sweet. Summer isn't gone yet, no matter how hard we keep pushing for autumn to arrive. There are still two more months left of the season, after all. Yet we feel the pressure to hurry, hurry, hurry. Time is fleeting. Life is short.
We don't recommend waiting until the last minute, but we do encourage you to seize the day. Enjoy your life. Don't be hustled along like one of the sheep! Let your mind take you where it will. Stop rushing about and read a book, for pete's sake. It'll do your head a world of good.
Kick off your shoes for a while longer. Put up a sign:
"Brain engaged...
please call back later."
