I live in a small town in southern Kentucky, about an hour's drive north of Nashville, TN. This town, along with a few others where I spent my growing up years, were the inspiration for Painter's Bluff.
That's the hometown of my sidekick, t-shirt model, and inner child, P.L.
If you visit my shop and blog, you'll be seeing a lot of this young lady.
My family and I live in an old Victorian house that was built by my great-great grandfather in the 1860s.
We are owned by a few dogs (including Dusty and Winky) and four cats (including Tilly).
I am the mother of three grown children. I have a degree in elementary education, with a minor in mass communication and a teaching minor in art.
I love drawing and painting. Much of my art is inspired by pets, people, and nature. Some of that art translates well to t-shirts, license plate frames, mugs, and other fun stuff.
A few of my other shops can be found at these links:
AmeriColors - a shop for military families and other patriotic folks
TeachersPets - a shop for teachers, coaches, tutors, students, and other people associated with our educational system
Black T-Shirts - a shop filled with... black shirts and other apparel
Horses Around - a shop for people who love having horses around
