HAVING ANY TROUBLE?
If you have any trouble with an order... don't worry! CafePress.com (the company that makes and ships these products) has a 100% satisfaction guarantee within 30 days of purchase. You can call them at 1-877-809-1659. (By the way, CaféPress is not a Christian company... so please consider taking time to witness to your operator.) Thanks, and God bless!
Why use a non-Christian company like CaféPress?
CaféPress is basically a t-shirt making company (they make lots of other products too, but t-shirts are their staple). They make our t-shirts (and all the other stuff you see on our little store) for us. We upload our artwork to them, and then CaféPress puts it on the items we select. When you place your order, CaféPress will create and ship your item to you. Then 45 days later, they will pay us a little "commission" on our sales.
CaféPress is not a Christian company, and we are not their only customers. Most of the companies they make t-shirts for are non-Christian... some are even anti-Christian. If you receive an email from CaféPress, and you click the links in that email... you will be taken to look at the t-shirts that CaféPress made for other companies... many of which will be offensive.
You may ask, "Why use a non-Christian company like CaféPress?" The simple answer is that until there is a Christian alternative, the only way we can offer these products is through a non-Christian company like CaféPress. Yes, it bothers us that CaféPress allows non-Christian, and even anti-Christian, messages on their products. It also bothers us that CaféPress sells objectionable products (such as immodest "baby doll" t-shirts for women).
How can we explain working with a non-Christian company like this? Consider for a moment, the Internet in general. In general, the Internet is a hostile place toward Christians... a place filled with pornography, filthy language, and objectionable material of every kind. However, it is also a tool being used by God to spread the Gospel. Christians have "infiltrated" this medium and infused it with websites where a person can learn how to be saved from God's coming wrath. It's a little like the roads that were laid down by the Roman empire in the time of the first century church. God used those roads, that were created by a wicked and idolatrous nation, as an aid to spreading the Gospel far and wide.
In the same way, we feel that God is using our little store as a light in the midst of a dark place. Although CaféPress may be making non-Christian products for some other company, the products CaféPress makes for us are not only "Christian," but also EVANGELISTIC in nature! It delights us to think of the non-Christian workers at CaféPress, making up one of our t-shirts, and thus reading the Gospel.
The truth is that many of companies we all must deal with on a daily basis are non-Christian. In a perfect world we'd have Christian gas stations, supermarkets, and clothing stores. Maybe you do have access to some of these where you live. But most of us buy our gas at non-Christian gas stations--where they may sell objectionable magazines. We do our shopping at non-Christian supermarkets--where they may sell liquor and cigarettes. And we buy our clothes at non-Christian clothing stores--where they may sell objectionable and immodest clothing.
However, if knowing that CaféPress is a non-Christian company bothers your conscience, please do not buy products from our little store. We are not at all insulted by this.
We hope this helps you understand a little more about where we're coming from.
Thank you, and God bless,
Anna "Banana" Jackson
