Welcome to Mocha's Shoppe.

My name is Ric Ross. I created this online store to help benefit the Terri Shumsky Fanny Mae Liver Shunt Fund. 100% of the proceeds from this store go directly to this wonderful all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to help Dr. Karen Tobias find the DNA marker for this dreaded disease. Dr. Tobias, at the University of Tennessee Veterinary School in Knoxville is working tirelessly to find this DNA marker.

The little Yorkie girl you will see throughout this store is named Mocha. At the very tender age of 4 months, Mocha was diagnosed as having Liver Shunt. Her breeder surrendered her to me and the TSFMLS was able to get her from Hollywood, CA, all the way to Knoxville, TN, where she had the surgery which saved her life.

I had the privilege of caring for this little one for 8 days before she left for Knoxville. In that time, I came to love the spirit of this little girl who would have died without the surgery that we were determined that she would have. She has had her surgery and is now doing fine.
