The LithicLair: Neolithic LairShop

Welcome to THE LITHICLAIR, a realm of images inspired by the decorative art of Neolithic Europe. These images have been created as actual ceramic pieces (Sculpey polymer clay is my medium of choice), and later scanned and elaborated on. I also plan to scan original cross-stitch pieces combining Neolithic and Balkan Poltava influences, once they are finished in 3-dimensional form. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these designs!
Much gratitude is due to the late archaeologist and author, Prof. Marija Gimbutas, whose books and articles on the Civilization of Old Europe first brought the decorative art of the Neolithic potters to my attention.
