The 275th MP Company is headquartered in Washington, DC, and belongs to the District of Columbia Army National Guard. At one time a company of the 171st MP Battalion, the 275th MP Company now mobilizes as part of the 372nd MP Battalion.
Reorganized from earlier units, the 171st MP Battalion existed from 1947 until 1982. It included the 275th MP Company, the 276th MP Company, and the 471st MP Company.
In 1982 the 171st MP Battalion was reorganized and designated the 372nd MP Battalion. A component of the 260th MP Command, the 372nd MP Battalion includes the 273rd MP Company, the 274th MP Company, the 275th MP Company, and the 276th MP Company – all companies of the District of Columbia Army National Guard.
