This store is a place to buy goods displaying the Grand Cross of the Order of the Laurel. The Order of the Laurel is an award of the Society for Creative Anachronism. The "Grand Cross" doesn't actually exist as a "level" of the Order of the Laurel, as the Laurel is as high as it gets; rather, these goods represent the Laurel as it might appear as the highest award for one of Europe's grand Royal Orders (like the Order of the Garter, the Order of the Thistle, or the Order of the White Eagle).
