Welcome!

Kids Campaign Junior is FINALLY HERE!

Do you know who is getting your vote this year?

Do your kids know?

Often, politics is an adult only subject. Yet all too soon, our kids will hold the direction of our Republic in their hands. Now is the time to teach our kids how politics works and how to think about critically about current issues.

Kids are the future of our nation. Therefore, it is vitally important that they learn to think critically about the issues that face us. It is not enough to simply tell them what to think, we must teach them how to think. They will no doubt come up against philosophical and political obstacles. They need to be prepared to defend themselves. This requires a solid understanding of the modern election process.

In order to give them a complete education about America's elections, we need to engage kids' minds. Kids Campaign works to do this by giving students an opportunity to get involved. They will research the candidates and the campaigns in the current election. Every homework assignment is connected with the following lesson, all leading up to an election in which the class will decide who they would like to see leading the nation. As kids get engaged in the topic, they take personal responsibility for their education and learn to analyze the issues for themselves. This will efficiently prepare students for the day they too join the political process, giving them tools to defend their own convictions.

Note Kids Campaign is for grades 5-8;

Kids Campaign Junior is for grades 2-4.

Kids Campaign is a non-partisan, interactive, six-week curriculum, for students in grades 5-8, created to help them understand American Presidential politics and think critically about the issues involved. It is best used concurrent with the Presidential campaigns, from September to the November election, preferably in a group of 3-10 students.
