More Information

Here it is -- "Give War A Chance" -- the latest album from Kandahar Guitar Society. Recorded completely on historic Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania between December 2006 and February 2007, "Give War A Chance" represents a musical journey by John Williams and Mike Maloney. This is the first KGS album featuring a live drummer, and Mike does a killer job on the album's 11 songs. This album features songs culled from a number of albums recorded by John Williams over the last 20 years. As you listen to Kandahar Guitar Society, you will hear guitar-based rock influenced by Blue Oyster Cult, AC/DC, UFO, Ted Nugent, Rush, and other great rockers from the 1970s and 1980s. John’s guitar playing – once describe as a “cross between blues and shred” – and Mike's drumming -- described as "Neil Peart playing for Judas Priest" - is featured prominently on the album. We invite you to check out this collection of music, buy a copy, and tell your friends. Listen to the message! Find out about the album and the stories behinds the songs at www.guitarattack.com.
