Kansas City Wave Swim Team

KC Wave is one of 40 teams belonging to International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA), sharing its mission to promote participation in aquatic sports among lesbians, gay men, and their friends in the community. Although much of KC Wave's time is spend socializing, it still abides by IGLA's high standards of aquatic competitions, including the Gay Games and the annual IGLA championships. KC Wave also belongs to Missouri Valley Swimming (MOVY) and regularly attends swim meets (locally and abroad). There are no "try outs" for KC Wave; swimmers of all skill levels are welcome.
