Welcome to Kate Mart. This is me, Kate, to left, but if you ever meet me, I'll be in color. I also don't have a lens flare in my hair. I added it so I would look artsy. Anyway, this is my art. Art makes a great gift for people you don't know very well, or if you live in Hollywood, all those people whose numbers are in your phone that you said you'd do lunch with but don't actually know anything about other than what sort of car they drive. Here's a fun way to get that lunch conversation started: tell them you know this amazing artist who sells weird t-shirts with giraffes on them, and for some reason they're all the rage. You saw Kirsten Dunst wearing one in Vogue!! It helps to have a few rounds of drinks first. And don't say Kirsten Dunst if she's sitting at the next table. It doesn't matter which celebrity you pick, because your lunch date will remember it wrong anyway and tell someone else that it was Carmen Electra in Italian Vogue, which is even better, as long as they remember the giraffes and buy the shirt. This is how people get rich. I'm counting on you.
