Artist's Tips:
All fabric products should be prewashed, and I recommend turning them inside out, which will protect the printed inks, while washing out any product sizing.
For marking on posters & paper products, your imagination is really your only limit- crayons, markers, colored pencils, I know one lady who added accents of pearlescent nail paint to her mermaid poster, and the effect was truly stunning!
For coloring the fabric products, you must consider washability & permanence, as well as whether the ink or paint will bleed and blossom on the fibers of the fabric. For canvas bags, plain old Sharpies, now available in about a million colors and tip shapes, work beautifully, although some colors may bleed under heavy laundering. They also sell a paint pen, which I haven't tried but should work quite well. Dick Blick sells a number of excellent fabric paint pens, quite inexpensively.
