From the Contributor
An interesting exploration of one writer's early short stories.
Synopsis
An excerpt from a story called Humanity: I was headed right for a military tank. I tried to stop, but I was shoved into the side of it, my cheek tore on a tread, but I kept the camera safe. As fast as I could, I climbed onto the tank, but others had the same idea. We were slipping on the slick paint, I grabbed the gun barrel, hot from being out all day in the sun, and hot from firing. I felt searing pain in my fingers, but kept the camera safe with my other hand.
