When asked what he wanted for his 50th birthday, Bobby told Doug that all he wanted was to get back on the skings after his 20 year lay off and do a CD with his brother Jim, & the Reverend. And so, Doug makes it happen. But not until Bobby & Jerry with very bad hangover's, chase Elwood (Jerry's dog), down the street for a few. Off they go to meet Jim and Bill at Club 39 to spend about 10 hours recording some serious blues. Aside from not being sure of all the songs, Bobby laid it down like he only stopped playing yesterday. Jim, never having played with the Reverend before, still had a connection that was mystical. Jerry thought that with an offer like "What do you want", Bobby should have gone for a bigger meal. Jerry was honored and happy to fulfill his birthday wish. Jerry said that it was a pleasure to work with both of the Mouradian brothers and he would do it again, anytime. He didn't know where it came from that day, but thought it was some of the best blues he'd ever produced. He treasures his CD over all his others. Enjoy!
