"Girl in the Shadows"

She's mysterious. She's beautiful. She's the either the girl we want to be, or the one we dream of meeting. Her heart is pure, her smile charming, but to us, she'll always be "the girl in the shadows".

The unique thing about this portrait is that it was drawn in reverse. In other words, what you see in white below was originally drawn in dark graphite on a white surface and then digitially inverted. To put it in photographic terms, I drew the negative and reversed it.
