Native American Eye-in-Hand Symbol: This design is based on ancient artwork of the Indigenous Mississippian Culture that lived near the Black Warrior River in central Alabama. The Mississppian Culture existed long before the Cherokee, Creek and other Southeastern Indian Nations were formed. The eye-in-the-hand is a common symbol seen in other cultures and signifies protection and luck. Also called the Hand of Fatima and the Hamsa. For more original designs visit www.artdanz.com
