Texas is one of those states where politics is played hard. There are no holds barred in the struggle for political dominance in Texas, and in the last decade, Texas Republicans have been able to grab every scrap of statewide power for themselves - an issue that came up in our interview with Barbara Ann Radnofsky, the Democratic candidate for US Senate in 2006.
Ironically, it's when things are most desperate that one person's actions can make the biggest difference. So, we're urging the progressives of Texas to get back on their feet and stay in the struggle.
