w, Shoot. So Dick Cheney put some buckshot in someone’s face accidentally this past weekend on an exclusive quail hunt for millionaires. Now, I eat meat myself, so I’m not about to go off on a rant about hunting. And people do make mistakes all the time, of course, so if this were anyone else we’d just drop it and sympathize for both parties involved. But for Dick Cheney, this is a material instance of a larger pattern. As Vice President, Dick Cheney’s policy has consistently been to Shoot First.
Add in George W. Bush, who would rather that the press, the citizenry, the courts and the congress Ask Questions Later, and you’ve got a humdinger of a combination.
Aw, but what do I know? I went hunting with the Vice President, and all I got was this lousy, bloody t-shirt...

It was about stopping the War On Terror baloney. So now that the Democratic Party has won the House of Representatives, and the Senate, and the White House, it has WHAT? Overwhelmingly voted to prevent the closure of Guantanamo!
