Invisible Disability Campaign

Products for the rest of us disabled folks - be it mental illness, learning disabilities, brain injury, epilepsy, RSI, diabetes, chronic fatigue, fibro, you name it - we're disabled too. It just doesn't show most of the time.

Promote visibility for yourself and others! Get that 'disabled persons' bus seat you need without getting dirty looks! (Please don't abuse this feature!) Be 'out and proud' and visible, and fight the stigma of disabilities, illnesses, and chronic pain.

Or try our new "cranky" shirts - "I don't look disabled? Well, you don't look stupid. Let's call it even." We don't recomend wearing these shirts to your Social Security hearing - but it's very tempting.

This is a one-sick-girl campaign. The meager profits go to feeding the disabled chick who runs it, and towards my wheelchair fund.

I hope to print some runs of black shirts in the future if there's enough interest., and possibly colors as well.

Wherever possible I prefer to use and support American Apparel, manufacturers of really tasty shirts and clothing, made in the USA (downtown LA!) union and all that. Plus they're just great shirts. Any of CafePress' things that say "Made in the USA" are probably printed on American brand apparel. Someday I may (if there's interest) do some print runs on black and colored American shirts.

Please don't steal the idea for profit. It's mean to steal from the poor disabled chick, and will give you bad karma and bad breath. There's only a buck or two markup on CafePress' base prices, so I'm not expecting to rake in the money here. But please do feel free to send people here!
