Launched on YouTube on July 1, 2007 - "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?" is a quick and dirty web series inspired by "Will It Blend" that airs bi-weekly on YouTube.com. With over 100 episodes, and four full seasons of four minute episodes, "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?" has been watched over 4,000,000 times by people all over the world, with a growing active audience of 20,000 subscribers. Producer Jonathan Paula gets nearly 500 comments a day on the series, many suggesting new explosive items for Jory to nuke up in the next episode.
About The Show
Twice a week, microwave specialist Jory Caron microwaves different objects... so you don't have to! The "Jory Caron Microwave Laboratory II" is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with tinfoil shielding, a proper ventilation system, emergency surge protectors, and of course - various Sharp and GE microwaves that get very abused.
