Well it ain't Blues or Country but perhaps a distant cousin to both. It's a result of the music I grew up listening to: Rock & Roll, Blues and some Country and Funk with some Reggae and even a bit of Jazz, Gospel and Latin flavors in spots. Like life itself, it's fun, lonely, joyful and a little painful at times. That's why I call it the Honky Tonk Funk. And as Billy Joel said "it's still Rock & Roll to me."
