Synopsis
Bernhard was born in North Dakota in 1890. His father remarried and moved the family to Minnesota after his mother's death in 1897. Bernie was drafted in 1918 and served in the 30th Division, 118th Infantry Regiment, Company "F" until his death at Montbrehain, France in October, 1918.
