Humane Animal Rescue Team of Texas

The Humane Animal Rescue Team (HART) is a non-profit, tax exempt, all volunteer organization dedicated to partnering with local animal shelters in the Dallas Fort Worth area to provide foster care and find permanent homes for adoptable companion animals. When these animals are ready for adoption, they are made available online and at "Adopt-A-Pet" events through the generosity of local pet supply stores. HART's primary goals are to promote the humane treatment of all animals and provide good companions for their owners. HART also maintains an educational program to encourage owners to spay or neuter their companion animals.
