Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League

Our mission is to promote the welfare of animals by - supporting the establishment and assisting in the operation of an animal services agency and animal shelter within Gunnison Valley - assisting the community with spay/neuter costs and - preventing the neglect of and cruelty to animals by educating the public about their humane treatment. The GVAWL is acheiving our mission through our numerous programs including pet adoption, education on the humane treatment of animals, a spay/neuter program and much, much more. The GVAWL is working hard on developing a shelter that will service the needs of Gunnison County's residents and homeless pets.
