Hi, I'm Guy David, a musician and a digital artist from Israel. I've been writing music for 20 years and today I use the internet as a the main tool for promoting my music. While in the past I've been working with synthesizers and sequencers, I decided to abandon those in 2003 in favor of a Mac. I find working solely with a computer easier for me since my conception of music is very visual. The GUI of computer software helps me see the music before I actually hear it, which is the best way of working for me.
In my music, I create an impossible blend of Drum'n'Bass, Ambient, Techno and IDM. My interest in writing music lies in breaking time, distorting it and rearranging it. I'm currently working on a technique I call Voice Deconstruction, where I break the recorded voice into small fragments and then rearrange it into new patterns. I create my music using Reason and Recycle software from Propellerhead. I use recycle to break samples into small pieces and Reason to manipulate them and create new sounds and music sequences.
Bellow, on the Remixes sections you'll find CD Singles containing about half an hour of special remixes, not available anywhere else. Creating a remix, I don't simply move pieces of music from one place to another. Instead, I like to add things, change things and completely rearrange the tracks. Often, what I'm left with is a completely different track.
