Gulf South Golden Retriever Rescue

Gulf South Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. (GSGRR) is a small group of volunteers. We take in purebred Golden Retrievers, and occasionally other dogs, from public and private shelters, and we accept owner-relinquished dogs from the Gulf Coastal states (LA, MS, AL, FL) in order to provide them with necessary veterinary care, to spay or neuter them as necessary, to evaluate their temperament and to socialize them, and to match them with loving, carefully selected adoptive homes. We are home based in the Greater New Orleans, LA area but have volunteers spread across the Gulf South and the Northeast. We place dogs not only in the Gulf South but in the Northeast as well (including but not limited to; NY, MA, RI, CT, NH, VT, DE, and ME).
