The Chinese Shar Pei originated in China and is part of the AKC Non-Sporting Group. DEscribed as serious and dignified with independent nature. Very loving toward their family. 'Shar Pei' translates to 'Sand skin' which refers to the breed's sandpaper like coat. We have broken out our Shar Pei products by design.
