Personalized Magic Square Buttons and Magnets

What is a “Magic Square”?
A magic square is an X by X grid of numbers, in which X is any positive whole number that is 3 or greater, and in which the numbers in each row, column, diagonal and numerous other constructs add up to the same total.

How do I get my own customized magic square?
First, contact me by e-mail, and let me know of your interest in getting a custom magic square button or magnet, and the details of the magic square you desire, as described in the options below. Once your customized magic square has been designed (please allow 72 hours for design completion and notification), you will be e-mailed a unique link at which you will be able to purchase your customized magic square buttons and/or magnets. This link will remain active for 7 days, after which the link will expire.

What exactly will I be getting?
Once you order, you will receive circular buttons or magnets, 2.25 inches in diameter, with your customized 4 cell by 4 cell magic square design on the face. The total of any four numbers in the following patterns (highlighted in red) will always be the same:

These buttons and magnets are available individually, perfect for giving as a unique gift. They can also be purchased in bags of 10 or 100, perfect for use as party favors. A customized magic square is a unique memento of a birthday, wedding, anniversary or any other special occasion, and can even add a sense of wonder and awe to those treasured memories.

What are the available options?
Age Magic Squares: With this option, the magic square's total will always be equal to the age that is requested. For this option, the age in question must be at least 21, to prevent negative numbers in the magic square. Here is one for age 30:

Year Magic Squares: With this option, the magic square's total will always be equal to the year that is requested. Here is one that totals 1985:

Date Magic Squares: With this option, there will be four highlighted squares that match a requested date, with the year split up into two 2-digit numbers. The total of the magic square will be the sum of the month number, the date number, the first half of the year and the second half of the year. The date can be arranged in any of the patterns described and shown above, and can be done in American format (example: 6/15/1985) or European format (example: 15/6/1985). Here is one for the date 6/15/1985, whose magic total is 125 (6+15+19+85):

White background: This option is shown on all the previous examples. It is simple, yet appropriate for many types of occasions.

Gold background: This option highlights the square itself, as well as giving a classy look.

Pinewood background: This option highlights the square itself in a similar manner to the gold background, as well as creating a feel of strength and durability.

Fun background: This option is a whimsical background, suggesting creativity and fun.

Buttons and Magnets: You don't have to specify this in your initial contact, as the link you are sent will contain both magnets and buttons, available individually, as well as in bags of 10 or 100. Here is what they look like:

How much does this cost?
Individual buttons and magnets will be available for only US$ 4.00. Bags of 10 buttons and magnets will cost US$ 30.00, which is a 25% savings off the single button price. Bags of 100 buttons will go for US$ 200, which saves you 50% off of the single button price!
